Phelps Sports will be bringing you live updates of the 2020 Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) Equitation Championships at the Tryon International Equestrian Center including standings, judge and trainer comments and more beginning Friday, October 23 to Saturday, October 24. Stay tuned!

October 24, 11:30am – Tessa Brown is winner of  2020 WIHS Equitation Championship! Coming back third for the work-off, Brown topped the leaderboard during the final phase. The final results are as follows:

October 24, 9:50am – The Jumper Phase of the WIHS Equitation Championship is complete with Zayna Rizvi maintaining her lead aboard Finnick. The top 10 riders will return for the Final Work-Off, where they will swap horses at 10:15 am. Here is the current rankings:

October 24, 8am – The Jumper Phase of the WIHS Equitation Championship is underway as 39 entries return to compete over the course shown below:

October 23, 2:45pm – The Hunter Phase of the WIHS Equitation Championship is complete with Zayna Rizvi and Dominic Gibbs tied at the top of leaderboard, each with an average score of 90 from the two judging panels. All 39 entries will return Saturday morning for the Jumper Phase in reverse order of the results below. At the conclusion of the Jumper Phase, the top 10 will be invited back to switch horses for the final work-off.
