Washington, D.C. – October 24, 2012 – The second day of the Washington International Horse Show was filled with exciting jumper competition tonight at the Verizon Center in Downtown Washington, D.C. It was a night of intensity as the nation’s top children and adult amateur riders gathered beneath the lights to vie for the coveted $10,000 WIHS Jumper Championship titles. It was Ericka Caslin and Rioletto who rode to the top of the standings with a phenomenal double-clean effort in the Adult Amateur Jumpers. Nina Montross stood out above all the rest as the only rider to post a double-clear effort in the Children’s Jumpers and ride to the championship tricolor with Caprifol.
