Zionsville, IN - August 2, 2012 - The much-anticipated Traders Point Hunt Charity Horse Show (TPHCHS) is set to start next week. A favorite summer destination show, TPHCHS will run from August 7-12, 2012 and will offer classes for riders of all experience levels, including several prestigious championships and Grand Prix opportunities.
 
 The $30,000 Mr. & Mrs. Russell Fortune, Jr. Memorial Grand Prix will take place Friday, August 10, 2012 at 5 pm. The event is open to all horses, and the height will be set at 1.50 meters, testing riders and horses alike in preparation for the $60,000 Grand Prix of Indianapolis to be held Sunday, August 12 at 2 pm.

As a member of the USHJA World Championship Hunter Rider Program, TPHCHS offers top hunter classes that will help riders earn points toward year-end awards. The main hunter highlight of TPHCHS is the long-awaited $15,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby. The event will count as a qualifying event for the $100,000 2013 USHJA International Hunter Derby Finals.

TPHCHS will also offer the USHJA Zone 5 Open Jumper Championship and will offer numerous Open Jumper classes, including the 1.20m Open Jumpers, 1.30m Open Jumpers, and the esteemed $1,000 1.35m Open Jumpers.

The Junior classes will run from Aug. 9-10, 2012. The $15,000 PNC Bank Junior/Amateur-Owner Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic will give junior and amateur-owner riders the rare opportunity to compete at higher levels.

In the hunter rings, Junior riders will have the opportunity to prepare for the $1,000 Junior Hunter Classic with numerous classes available for both Large and Small Junior Hunters.

Adult Amateurs will also have the opportunity to prove themselves in the jumper ring in the $500 Adult Amateur Jumpers, as well as the USHJA Zone 5 Adult Amateur Jumper Championship. This event will include the $2,500 NAL/WIHS Adult Amateur Jumper Classic, which will help competitors gain qualifying points for the North American League Series and WIHS Championship Series.
 
Several Children's Jumper classes will be available throughout the week, including the USHJA Zone 5 Children's Jumper Championship. Both the Adult Amateur and Children competitors will have the opportunity to compete in the Low Jumpers, including the USHJA Zone 5 Low Children's/Adult Amateur Jumper Championship.

Adult Amateur competitors will showcase their equitation in the IHJA Adult Medal, the USEF Adult Medal and the Ariat National Adult Medal. All of the classes will help the riders prepare for the $1,000 NAL/WIHS Adult Amateur Classic, which will be held on Friday, Aug. 10.
