That is exactly happened during a special event at the 2015 World Cup Finals tonight during “Duel in the Desert.” Switzerland’s Steve Guerdat, current leader of the World Cup Standings, teamed up with Brandon Buttars to take on two other teams of horse and rider combinations, trading disciplines and showcasing their skills in the saddle....

If you are 19 years old, whether horse or human, tonight was your night. Young Irish phenom Bertram Allen, just 19 years old, raced away with the victory in the speed leg of the 2015 Longines FEI World Cup Finals aboard Molly Malone V. But 19-year-old Irish Sport Horse Flexible was right on his heels with Rich Fellers for the United States, taking home second place and proving that not even a bout of colic could slow him down....
